Ben Lawson serves as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Enterprise Mobility, engaging in global initiatives such as strategy development and growth, investment and acquisitions, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) projects.
Having joined the business in 1994 as a Management Trainee in Chesterfield, UK, Ben quickly progressed to Group Rental Manager for the South East England, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic acumen.
In 2008, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Rental for the UK and Ireland, and in 2014, assumed the position of Vice President of Rental for Europe. In this role, he implemented various technologies and growth opportunities as well as supporting several strategic acquisitions, including Citer and Atesa, CARO Autovermietung, and SHB Vehicle Hire.
Ben was promoted to Vice President of Mobility and Project Development for the UK and Ireland in 2018, shaping Enterprise Mobility’s position in the evolving mobility landscape and championing initiatives such as Mobility as a Service (MaaS).
In 2020, he was appointed to Vice President of Mobility and Project Development for Europe, collaborating with metropolitan authorities, policymakers and partners to develop and implement mobility models. This led to a promotion to his current position in 2024.
Ben currently lives in Surrey with his wife and two children.
