Sam is Policy Manager at Climate Group, an international NGO driving climate action, where he leads on EV and clean electrification policy across the UK and EU. His work spans corporate fleet electrification through EV100, charging policy and grid modernisation, and engagement with major regulatory frameworks such as the UK Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate and the EU CO₂ standards. He previously worked for the policy and strategy consultancy Stonehaven, where he delivered several policy projects focused on the energy transition, publishing impactful papers on electric bus policy, battery storage, public ownership in energy, and UK electricity market reform. Before this, he completed a PhD in International Relations at the London School of Economics.
