Ewelina Jankiewicz

Ewelina Jankiewicz is a sustainable mobility specialist at the Poznań Metropolis Office. She coordinated the entire process of developing the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for the Poznań Metropolis 2040 (SUMP), from preparing the procurement procedure to select a contractor, through collaboration on drafting the document and conducting public consultations, to its presentation and adoption by the member local authorities. She is currently responsible for implementing and monitoring the SUMP, analysing the implementation of measures and indicators, and working with local government authorities on mobility-related issues.

In her work, she combines a strategic mobility planning perspective with practical experience of metropolitan cooperation. She is interested in viewing mobility not only as a transport issue, but also as a factor shaping health, quality of life, accessibility and the attractiveness of cities. She also places importance on the user perspective. In her daily life, she travels by rail, public transport and bicycle, recognising the importance of seamlessly combining different modes of transport in creating a more user-friendly and sustainable mobility system.
