Senior Researcher at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland (HES-SO), Anastasia is a specialist in social innovation and urban transition with a multidisciplinary background spanning urban planning, architecture, and innovation management. She is the author of numerous publications, capacity-building and educational modules grounded in Living Lab approaches and collaborative methodologies, designed to foster systemic change across diverse domains, including zero-carbon neighbourhoods, place-based education, integrated climate and energy action planning, and digital transformation strategies.
Anastasia’s work bridges research, policy, and practice through the design of learning ecosystems, engagement processes, and knowledge-transfer mechanisms that enable organisations and communities to navigate complex transitions. Her expertise has contributed to a wide range of Swiss, European, and international research and innovation initiatives.
