Graduate in Civil Engineering from the Częstochowa University of Technology and the International School of Banking and Finance in Katowice. Research internships: Department of Boilers and Thermodynamics at the Institute of Thermal Machinery, Częstochowa University of Technology, and the Hamburg University of Technology (FRG – Federal Republic of Germany).
Co-author of over a dozen unpublished research papers, including those conducted under the government program (PR-8 „Comprehensive Development of the Power Industry”) and departmental programs (CPBP). Co-inventor of 2 patents. Author and co-author of over 30 scientific articles in the fields of acoustics, district heating, heating technology, unconventional energy sources, and environmental protection.
From 1993 to 1996, Deputy Director and Director of the Environmental Protection Department at the Voivodeship Office in Częstochowa. From 1994 to 1996, Deputy Chairman of the Voivodeship Flood Control Committee in Częstochowa. In 1994, served as an expert to the Mayor of Częstochowa for the substantive evaluation of bids for the development of the „Modernization Program for the District Heating System of the City of Częstochowa.”
Since 1998, an expert on the roster of the Minister of Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry for preparing environmental impact assessments.
Employed since 1996 as an Environmental Engineer at Bank Ochrony Środowiska (BOŚ Bank), involved in, among other things, the financing of investment projects (selected examples):
Replacement of the open-hearth steelmaking process with a new metallurgical process in an electric oxygen-arc furnace at the „Częstochowa” Steelworks;
Stage II of the modernization of the Radlin coking plant – with the participation of European Union (EU) funds;
Improvement of water and wastewater management in the Bytom municipality – with the participation of EU funds;
Modernization of wastewater treatment plants in Częstochowa and Jędrzejów;
Construction of a small hydroelectric power plant near Oświęcim on the Vistula River;
Construction of a small hydroelectric power plant in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski on the Kamienna River;
Construction of a small hydroelectric power plant in Zawada on the Warta River;
Modernization of street lighting in: Częstochowa, Lubliniec, and Myszków;
Modernization of street lighting across 12 towns in the Kruszyna municipality;
Thermal modernization of the Municipal Office and Primary School buildings in Olsztyn;
Thermal modernization of School Complex buildings: No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski;
