Marie-Frederique Romain

In this position since April 2023 and based in Toulouse, she leads the strategy and the teams in charge of all customers for Airbus
Commercial Aircraft in Central and Northern Europe.
Marie-Frederique joined Airbus in 2011 where she began as Contracts Negotiator for aircraft sales in various regions including Europe,
Africa and Asia. She moved to Sydney in 2013 to take over the responsibility of the Pacific region as Contracts Director before moving
into a Sales Director position in 2017 for various accounts in the Pacific, including the Qantas Group. In 2019, she became Vice
President for sales in the Pacific region, including Australia, New-Zealand and the Pacific islands and was also an Airbus Australia
Pacific (AAP) Board Director until 2022. She was based in Singapore until December 2022.
Prior to Airbus, Marie-Frederique worked in various sales and contracts management position within the Thales Group in their Military
business unit and at General Electric in their Energy Business Unit contributing to the sale of power plants in Northern Africa. She also
worked as an economic attaché for the US State Department promoting US SMEs to aerospace European leaders.
Marie-Frederique graduated in 2003 from University College London with a BA of Politics and East European Studies and a Masters
Degree from Paris Business School (ESCP-EAP) in 2006 in conjunction with UW Madison..
