Paweł Krzyżak is a lawyer and manager, he also holds a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies and a Master’s degree in European Administration. He completed postgraduate Master of Business Administration studies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics and an MBA in Community Management at Krakow School of Business. He is also an experienced project management practitioner, holding PRINCE2 Foundation, FIDIC and PRiSM certifications. He is currently pursuing a PhD in law.
Throughout his professional career, he has delivered dozens of projects across the telecommunications, IT, transport, construction, advertising and marketing sectors. His cross-sector experience spans more than a decade and includes working with clients as a project manager and executive, as well as holding senior management positions in commercial companies and local government institutions.
He gained professional experience at organisations including FoodCare Sp. z o.o. and Śląska Sieć Metropolitalna Sp. z o.o., where he worked on ICT projects and served as Director of the Projects and Investments Department.
He also spent many years working in local government administration. At the Silesian Centre for Information Society in Katowice, he served as Deputy Director and supervised the implementation and maintenance of the Silesian Voivodeship Geoportal – ORSiP and the SEKAP Public e-Services Platform.
At the Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolis (GZM), he served as Deputy Director of the Projects Department, where he supervised projects including GZM Open Data, Metropolitan Bike, VELOSTRADA, Nextbike Integration, purchasing groups covering gas, energy, DTŚ and fuel for the official vehicles of GZM municipalities, the implementation of a document workflow system, payment card solutions in the GZM vehicle fleet, and Safe Metropolis – the interactive series “MY”.
In 2022, he was appointed President of the Management Board of Serwis GZM Sp. z o.o., based in Tarnowskie Góry, a company which he built and developed from the ground up.
