Helle Juul is a Founding Partner and responsible for Juul Frost Architects’ urban, landscape, and campus development projects, interdisciplinary research and development initiatives, as well as national and international strategic urban development projects. Helle Juul has led numerous projects that have created new methods and tools based on case studies, which have been disseminated through publications. Among these is Public Spaces for All, Many, Few, carried out for the Danish Crime Prevention Council, which developed recommendations to enhance safety and promote crime prevention efforts in urban spaces. She is responsible for Future Urban Health Culture, a project that develops tools to promote mental, physical, and social well-being through architecture and urban environments, with a particular focus on how biodiversity and urban nature can support investments in a healthy future. She has also led Urban Space as a Development Strategy, supported by Realdania, which creates tools for developing attractive cities, public spaces, and sustainable town centers. Through a series of significant strategies, master plans, and development projects in Scandinavia, Poland, and Russia, Helle Juul has demonstrated the ability to unite vision and practice. Her work in master planning and urban development has resulted in holistic solutions that integrate green and health-promoting principles as part of the architectural expression.
