Simone De Iacobis

CENTRALA architects (Małgorzata Kuciewicz and Simone De Iacobis) examine the relationship between architecture and natural phenomena. They conceive of architecture as a process and consider gravity, water circulation, and atmospheric and astronomical events to be its building blocks. CENTRALA’s work has been presented in the following exhibitions: White Waterlilies (Fundació Mies van der Rohe, Barcelona, 2022); Amplifying Nature (Venice Architecture Biennale, 2018); The Clothed Home (Seoul Museum of Craft Art, 2025); and Weathering: Chronobiological Architecture and Handing Over Control (VI PER, Prague, 2022), and Celestial Architecture (Copenhagen Architecture Biennial, 2025).
