My name is Dariusz Joński. I was born in Łódź on 12 January 1979, and Łódź and the wider Łódź region have been at the heart of my public service throughout my political career.
In June 2024, with the support and trust of voters, I was elected to the European Parliament as a representative of the Civic Coalition, receiving 194,109 votes — the highest result of any candidate in the Łódź region. In the European Parliament, I am a member of the European People’s Party (EPP).
I serve on the Committee on Transport and Tourism, where I am Vice-Coordinator, as well as the Committee on Petitions and the Committee on International Trade. One of my key priorities in the European Parliament is supporting the continued development of Poland’s and Europe’s road, rail and aviation infrastructure — an area closely connected to my responsibilities in Parliament.
Outside politics, I am the proud husband of Małgosia and father of Laura and Oliwier.
