Dr inż. Grzegorz Chrobak

Dr Grzegorz Chrobak is Head of the Laboratory of Environmental Acoustics and Soundscape at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.

His research interests include systems theory and its applications in other fields of science. He studies the behaviour of ecological networks, cities and communities at different scales, seeking simplicity in systems regarded as complex. His main area of research currently focuses on urban ecoacoustics and its connections with other networks operating within our environment.

As an academic, he introduces students to data processing, machine learning and business analytics. He is the academic supervisor of the KOMPAS Student Data Analysis Research Group, which supports an American football team through an innovative project using modern technologies and drones to automate tactical analysis and conduct advanced analysis of players’ biomechanical sports data.
