Grzegorz Rusiecki

Born in 1983, Grzegorz Rusiecki graduated in Law from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

From an early age, he has been involved in local affairs and local government, initially as a councillor and Chair of the Leszno Youth City Council, and subsequently as a councillor on Leszno City Council for four consecutive terms, following elections in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014.

From 2011 to 2014, he served as Second Deputy Mayor of Leszno, and from 2018 to 2019 as Deputy Head of Leszno County. In 2019 and 2023, he was elected as a Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.

He first ran for Mayor of Leszno in 2018, receiving 33.1% of the vote and finishing second. In the 2024 local elections, he won in the first round with 12,220 votes, representing 53.7% of the vote.
