Jolanta Niezgodzka is a Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland in its 10th term. She graduated in law from the University of Wrocław and in public sector management from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. She is also a graduate of the School for Political Leaders and the Batory Foundation’s Local Government Programme, and a finalist of the Open World programme.
For many years, she was active in Wrocław’s neighbourhood council and City Council, and since 2017 she has chaired the Executive Board of the Stare Miasto neighbourhood. As Vice-President, she co-organises the Lower Silesian Women’s Congress.
In the Sejm, her work focuses on women’s rights, equality and housing. She initiated a reform of Poland’s Social Housing Associations (TBS), works to strengthen the role of neighbourhood and village councils, and intervenes on matters concerning Lower Silesia.
