José Ramón Bauzá

José Ramón Bauza is a Spanish former politician who has served in the past as President of the Balearic Islands (2011-2015), Senator in the Spanish Senate (2015–2019), and as a Member of the European Parliament (2019-2024). His political career is characterised by his advocacy for economic development, educational reform, and European integration.

In the EP he has been the chair of the Tourism Task Force, Coordinator of the Transport Committee where, among others he has been the rapporteur of the RefuelEuAviation (SAF) files regarding the Fit for FiftyFive package.

Currently, José serves as Founder and Chairman of the Aviation and Tourism Forum, a global platform dedicated to fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth within these industries. Additionally, he serves as a Board Trustee at the Former MEPS association and also Board Trustee of World Law Foundation. He also leads JRB Global Investment Advisory as CEO
