Since January 2023, he has served as Deputy Director of the Public Transport Authority in Kraków and currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Prior to this, he was the Municipal Traffic Engineer for the City of Kraków for four years.
He graduated from AGH University of Kraków and completed postgraduate studies in Traffic Engineering at the Kraków University of Technology.
Since 2008, he has specialized in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), with a particular focus on traffic management, public transport priority, and real-time passenger information systems. Throughout his career, he has been involved in every stage of ITS projects, including concept development, technical documentation, system design, programming, implementation, testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.
For nearly ten years, he worked at the Kraków Traffic Control Centre, where he contributed to the development and operation of the city’s advanced traffic management systems. From 2019 to 2022, he served as Director of the Municipal Traffic Engineer Department for the City of Kraków. Between late 2025 and early 2026, he led the municipal team responsible for implementing the Low Emission Zone in Kraków.
As CTO, he is responsible for the technological development and operation of Kraków’s public transport system, including IT infrastructure and systems, Park & Ride facilities, Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) services, bike-sharing systems, municipal bicycle maintenance, and selected transport infrastructure. During his more than 18-year professional career, he has participated in numerous sustainable mobility initiatives and projects.
