Marta Weber-Siwirska is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. Her research focuses on vegetation in urban areas, with particular emphasis on green roofs and living walls. She is the author of scientific and popular science articles addressing issues related to urban greenery. She works regularly with representatives of municipal authorities in Polish cities, participating in national and international conferences, projects and workshops. Internationally, she has actively participated in seminars and conferences, delivering presentations in countries including the Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Hungary, the United Kingdom, China, India, the United States, Uzbekistan and New Zealand. She has also developed designs and concepts for several urban parks and prepared expert opinions on greenery inside buildings, including the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk, on buildings, including the Wroclavia shopping centre in Wrocław, and around buildings in Warsaw.
Marta Weber-Siwirska is a founding member and the current President of the Polish Green Roof Association. Since 2025, she has also served as Vice-President of the Board of the World Green Infrastructure Network.
