Mikołaj Dorożała is Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment and Chief Nature Conservator. He is a manager, former local government official and leader of sustainable development projects, with more than two decades of involvement in community and local government activities.
He gained professional experience in international corporations and the SME sector, as well as through close cooperation with non-governmental organisations. He holds a degree in political science from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and a qualification in project management from Poznań University of Economics and Business.
Outside his professional work, he is passionate about connecting closely with nature and taking on ambitious challenges. He has climbed the highest mountain in Europe and walked the entire length of Poland’s Baltic coast. In his everyday life, he prefers to navigate the urban jungle on two wheels, regarding cycling not only as the best means of transport but also as an opportunity to gain a fresh perspective.
