Petr Dovolil is a lawyer by profession and a legal, institutional, policy, sustainability and regulatory expert with more than 27 years’ consultancy experience. His major areas of focus include sustainability policies and strategies, sustainability proofing, climate change, infrastructure development, digital transition and urban resilience covering in particular mobility, water, circular economy, buildings and energy. He participated in the development of several Green City Action Plans for the EBRD (Minsk, Pristina and Belgrade). In the last 10 years, he has been extensively involved in multitude of projects for IFIs&IGO regarding infrastructure, policy dialogue and recently also sustainable finance projects both in Czechia and abroad, including ESIAs, climate resilience assessments and sustainability proofing exercise. Petr is a Presidium Expert of the Czech Business Council for Sustainable Development (www.cbcsd.cz) and Head of its Clean Mobility Working Group. He is a main translator of the official translation of the the Greenhouse Gas Protocol: GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, version 2004, WBCSD PACT Methodology and WBCSD Global Circularity Protocol for Business into Czech.
