Tomasz Klim

He has extensive professional experience, gained during many years of work in various positions in public and educational institutions. Currently, since 2024, he has served as Deputy Mayor of Białystok, where he is responsible for key decisions concerning the city’s development and the management of its resources. He coordinates activities in the areas of education and investment, including the development of the road network.

Prior to this position, he was associated with the Białystok University of Technology for many years. From 2011 to 2014, he worked in the Office for Development and International Programs as a clerk, and later as a senior clerk, supporting the implementation of international projects and the university’s development. In 2014, he moved to the Legal Affairs Section, where he specialized in providing legal services to the university. Subsequently, from 2018, he served as Head of the Internal Control Department, including the Risk Section. In this position, he was responsible for overseeing the internal control system and risk management, contributing to the improvement of management standards at the university.

Concurrently, from 2017 to 2021, he served as a member of the Foundation Council at the Białystok Foundation for Personnel Development, where he participated in strategic decisions regarding education and professional development in the region. His experience and commitment to the development of local institutions provide a solid foundation for his current duties as Deputy Mayor of Białystok.
