The New Mobility Congress which is the largest tradeshow and conference for sustainable transportation in the CEE region will begin in just 5 days. It will bring together more than 300 speakers from around the world. The organizers of the event plan to announce a number of premieres of the latest models of electric and hydrogen vehicles, zero-emission trucks and innovative solutions from the charging infrastructure sector.

The New Mobility Congress 2023 will be held on September 26-28th at Expo Lodz with more than 100 items on the conference agenda. It will involve Polish and international stakeholders from the zero-emission transportation sector. More than 300 speakers on 6 stages will take part in debates, workshops and roundtables, exploring the most important topics, challenges and trends in the development of new mobility. In addition to the conference, the KNM 2023 will feature the largest EXPO in Central and Eastern Europe. 150 partners and exhibitors will showcase their products and solutions on 19,000 square meters. Visitors to the event can expect several zero-emission vehicles premieres and other cutting-edge solutions of the e-mobility sector.

– The first day of KNM (i.e., September 26) will see the Polish premiere of the all-electric Ford Explorer, combining German engineering with American style. It is the first in the brand’s line of electric models, paving the way for the full electrification of the Ford range in Europe. KNM visitors will also see the BMW 5 Series in electric form. The model is another electric vehicle in the German manufacturer’s lineup, confirming the brand’s move toward electromobility. The Congress will also not miss the innovative Hyundai Kona, which had its European premiere in mid-September, and the car will already appear at KNM2023 – says Aleksander Rajch, PSPA Board Member.

The first day of the event will also feature presentations of modern heavy-duty vehicles. The KNM will showcase an all-electric Polish delivery truck, the eVAN, and a zero-emission tractor-trailer from IVECO. In addition, the Expo Stage will announce partnerships between PSPA and Volkswagen Financial Services, as well as the next edition of the “New Mobility” studies organized by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with PSPA.

No better place could be imagined announcing the start of recruitment for the next – second – edition of the New Mobility postgraduate program. The first semester of the first edition is already behind us, and its experience gives us and our partners from the Warsaw University of Technology the conviction that the course we have created is the best possible answer to the new needs of the labor market. We invite all those who want to associate their professional life with the megatrend of new mobility – comments Agata Wisniewska-Mazur, Deputy Development Director of PSPA.

The second day of KNM 2023 will see the premiere of the BMW iX5 Hydrogen powered by hydrogen fuel cells. The vehicle will serve as a shuttle during the event. Volvo Trucks, together with IKEA and Raben, will summarize one year of electric tractor-trailer use in real operating conditions. Representatives of PSPA and Business Finland will present a report on the development of the market for electric off-highway machinery (excavators, dozers, loaders, rammers, skidders, graders, haulers, etc.). The EV365 project – Poland’s first annual study of the operating characteristics of passenger electric cars in a small business – will be summarized.

– The New Mobility Congress is the most appropriate place to promote electromobility in road transport. 12 months ago, during the KNM we handed over the first electric tractor-trailer in Poland, during the next edition, we will share the experience of the first year of use with our customers. And that’s not all. In the EXPO zone you will be able to see an all-electric truck set-up and get an up-close look at the full range of Volvo Trucks electric vehicles at our stand – comments Piotr Werner, Product Digital and Marketing Manager at Volvo Poland.

Representatives of EkoEnergetyka, a leading charging infrastructure provider, will talk about the implementation of the Plug&Charge solution at their charging stations. It allows you to charge your car without having to authorize a charging session via an app or RFID card. All you have to do is drive up to the stations, plug in the cable, and the entire charging process will start automatically. Representatives of the Józef Tuliszkowski Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection will talk about fire protection for electric vehicles in underground garages, and PlugBox will touch on the topic of sharing electric car chargers.
