In his role as EcoPorts Coordinator, Tim manages and grows the EcoPorts network, Europe’s leading environmental initiative for ports. He works closely with port authorities, industry stakeholders, and environmental organizations to improve sustainability through best practices, innovative solutions, and international standards. Before taking on these roles, Tim built a strong track record at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, where he played a key role in sustainable development projects. His work on sustainable shipping, including onshore power supply (OPS), alternative fuels, and decarbonization strategies, has given him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities the maritime sector faces. Tim is known for his strategic mindset, collaborative approach, and ability to drive real change.
