Professor Szymon Szewrański is Vice-Rector for Socio-Economic Relations at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
He is a specialist in sustainable development in spatial planning and management. He served for many years as Director of the Institute of Spatial Management and is a member of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Urban Planning and Architecture Commission.
He specialises in the application of innovative location intelligence tools and integrated impact assessment of development policies. His research also focuses on forecasting changes in spatial development and their environmental consequences, as well as the adaptation of socio-environmental systems to climate change.
His interests include the use of modern technologies and analytical methods to anticipate future challenges related to spatial and environmental development.
