Idea

In the face of increasing global challenges such as climate change, technological development, and the need for sustainable development, support for R&D activities becomes crucial at both the national and EU levels
The approach of the European Union and particular Member States to funding, supporting, and promoting R&D activities in strategic areas of the economy plays a decisive role in shaping Europe's future
Investment in research and development (R&D) is not only a driver of innovation but also serves as the foundation for long-term economic and social growth. Companies, scientific sectors, and governments engage in R&D to ensure their progress
Utilizing the CEE potential
The Central and Eastern European region currently produces some of the best and most innovative engineers in the European Union. The concept of the Symposium during KNM is to promote the region’s potential, hence the slogan:

New Mobility Engineering and Technology Symposium 2024 will be the first event of its kind in the CEE region!

The new mobility market could contribute 5% to Poland’s GDP by 2035—but this will not happen without a technological and engineering foundation, and certainly not without specialist resources. The scientific and engineering potential of the region is a key element in unlocking the dynamic development of the market and building the industry of the future.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

we are setting very ambitious goals for this year’s New Mobility Congress. The program will go far beyond the technical framework of decarbonizing the sector and developing sustainable transport in Poland. Will the New Mobility Congress 2024 have an economic focus? To a large extent, yes, because our position in value chains in the coming years and decades will depend on the decisions made in the next few months.

This year, as part of KNM, we are also organizing the New Mobility International Engineering and Technology Symposium. The congress will thus serve as a hub for sharing engineering knowledge, presenting the latest technological innovations, and showcasing the potential of Central and Eastern European science and engineering resources in advancing new mobility.
