15/06/2025

• On September 23–25, 2025, the International Congress Center in Katowice, Poland will become the focal point of discussions on the future of sustainable transport and everything related to it. The New Mobility Congress 2025 will bring together 400 world-class experts, industry leaders, and decision-makers to address decarbonization challenges and trends.

• Confirmed speakers include prominent authorities from the fields of new mobility, urban planning, and beyond, such as: Carlo Ratti (architect and MIT professor), Françoise Poggi (Fastned), Hui Zhang (NIO Europe), Mark Chung (National Safety Council), Damiano Cerrone (Urbanist AI), Janet Sanz (Metropolitan Area of Barcelona), Felipe Rodriguez (ICCT Europe), and Arek Nowiński (Volvo Cars).

• The Congress program is being developed by a Program Council composed of over 30 experts.

• The September event will feature around 180 program sessions and the largest sustainable transport EXPO in the region.

This September, Katowice will become the European capital of zero-emission transport during the sixth edition of the New Mobility Congress. For the first time, it will be hosted in the Metropolis GZM – Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolitan Area – a metropolitan association composed of 41 municipalities around the town of Katowice. The Congress will welcome high-ranking politicians, EU and national decision-makers, city leaders, diplomats, industry representatives, academics, startups, and other stakeholders.

„2025 could mark a turning point for Polish electromobility after a challenging 2024. We’re seeing clear growth in sales, with a record 6% share of electric vehicles in new passenger car registrations in May. We don’t expect this momentum to slow, even with loosened CO₂ emissions rules for manufacturers. Growth is likely to accelerate, particularly in 2027,” says Maciej Mazur, Managing Director of PSNM. „Positive market forecasts require continued action. That’s why this year’s Congress will be groundbreaking in many ways,” he adds.

180 program points, 400 speakers

The Congress stands out with a rich, expert-driven program and inspiring speakers. This year, over 400 global authorities in sustainable road, maritime, and air transport, micromobility, autonomous driving technologies, energy, urban planning, AI, administration, and academia will take part in around 180 debates, workshops, and presentations across six stages.
